L’ATALANTE


A classic and tender love story and a film of extraordinary lyricism and beauty. A young barge captain, Jean (Jean Dasté) takes his peasant bride Juliette (Dita Parlo) to live with him and his eccentric crew, aboard his vessel L'ATALANTE, which plies the Seine.
Conflict arises when Juliette is seduced by the bright lights of Paris.
