Tràn Anh Hung

Born in Vietnam in 1962, Tràn Anh Hung was educated in France. His first feature film, 'The Scent of Green Papaya', poetically evoked his homeland and won a César for best first feature and the Camera d'Or in Cannes in 1993. His second film, 'Cyclo', set in Saigon, won the Golden Lion at the 1995 Venice Film Festival
