Mitsou is one of the most flamboyant and versatile personalities of the Quebec art scene and the third-generation of French Canadian Gelinas actors, following in grandfather Gratien and father Alain's footsteps.
After starting acting at the early age of 5, she turned to music at 17 and was an instant hit with BYE BYE MY COWBOY, followed by the album EL MUNDO and a multi-million dollar deal with Hollywood Records. In 1999, she composed the hit song LE TOUCHER for the movie soundtrack of THE BONE COLLECTOR. She has set up several music companies, among which Dazmo Musique.
A busy actress and a businesswoman too, she's been a regular on Canadian television (C'EST CHAUD, LES AMUSE-GUEULES, MANNEQUINS D'UN JOUR) and on radio, where she currently co-hosts the morning show C'T'Encore Drôle on CKMF. She's also editor in chief of Clin d'il magazine.
